Size is the central rule in Arcane Beauties. Paying icons can cover several cells at once, but the special Scatter must land completely within the reel area before it transforms into a wheel offering credits or Free Games.

How Arcane Beauties works
A fantasy slot in which symbol footprint is a rule
A fantasy slot in which symbol footprint is a rule
The provider lists 96.48% RTP, low/medium volatility, a 600x maximum payout and 35.8% hit frequency for its catalogued mathematical configuration. These are supplier specifications rather than settings observed during an active SlotsCollector demo. The published maximum also needs to be read in the scope of the whole game, not confused with any cash amount shown on a wheel screenshot.
What makes the game worth explaining is not a large selection of named mini-games. It is a relatively direct change to symbol geometry, followed by a special wheel event when the unusually large Scatter meets its placement condition.
GigaSymbols can take up 2x2, 3x3 or 4x4 positions
RubyPlay states that all ordinary symbols can have enlarged GigaSymbol versions in 2x2, 3x3 and 4x4 blocks. That does not mean the slot turns into a 4x4 reel game; the displayed reel field remains the original six-by-four layout, while particular symbol graphics can cover multiple positions within it.
A larger symbol footprint changes how the field looks and which positions contain an eligible paying icon. It is tempting to equate a 4x4 icon with sixteen guaranteed wins, but the real calculation still follows the game's payline and symbol rules. A visually large symbol does not, by itself, establish a fixed cash award. A fully visible four-by-four block can cover the field’s entire height while leaving two of its six reel columns outside that block.
The selected source still of a large phoenix GigaSymbol illustrates the size difference well. It is a visual example of the mechanic, not proof that that particular symbol automatically results in the game's maximum payout. Players should watch the relation between the oversized icon and the actual highlighted paying combinations.
This is also why a GigaSymbol should not be described as a normal Wild or a banknote collector. Its distinguishing characteristic is spatial extent.
The Scatter is only the 3x3 version
The Scatter has a more limited geometry than the other symbols. RubyPlay says the Scatter GigaSymbol appears as a 3x3 block, not in a 2x2 or 4x4 variant.
That matters for both feature recognition and accurate captions. A 2x2 object resembling a large magical symbol should not be described as a valid Scatter entry just because the game uses 2x2 GigaSymbols elsewhere. The Scatter has its own declared shape.
To recognise the Scatter, look for one complete three-by-three symbol block inside the reel area. Its nine positions belong to a single enlarged icon. Ordinary GigaSymbols can use other sizes, so a large two-by-two paying symbol does not satisfy the Scatter’s separate placement condition or open its wheel.
Fully landed Scatter: the wheel does not start from a clipped icon
The Wheel Feature begins when the 3x3 Scatter lands fully within the reels. This is a positioning requirement, not a simple anywhere-on-screen count of three small Scatters.
When that complete Scatter qualifies, it transforms into a prize wheel. RubyPlay describes the wheel giving either credits or Free Games. The important distinction is between the wheel's entry and its eventual selected reward: seeing the Scatter transform means the wheel interaction has opened, not that a particular number of spins or cash amount has been awarded.
The retained feature image shows the wheel transformation. It can help readers identify what occurs after a complete Scatter, but it does not establish equal probabilities for different wheel sectors or guarantee a jackpot. The outcome is determined by the game's own chance mechanism.
Players who are used to conventional three-Scatter bonuses may find this more visually intuitive once the full-landing rule is clear: it is one large 3x3 symbol that qualifies, not necessarily three separate small ones.
Free Games change the size distribution
If the Wheel grants Free Games, the supplier says that all GigaSymbols appearing during Free Games are 3x3 or 4x4. In other words, the smaller 2x2 GigaSymbol option is not part of this declared feature-state distribution.
This is more important than merely saying “larger symbols can appear in the bonus”. A reader can anticipate a different reel presentation: in ordinary play, GigaSymbols may come in three sizes, while the Free Games state uses only the two larger sizes.
The preserved provider text does not specify a universally fixed number of awarded Free Games from the wheel. It would be misleading to invent eight, ten or fifteen spins or infer an allocation from the photo of a counter in one example state. Similarly, the source does not supply a verified wheel-prize probability table.
A source still labelled as large GigaSymbols during Free Games illustrates the size restriction, not a complete record of the entire round.
From the ordinary field to the wheel and Free Games
Start with the six-by-four field and compare an enlarged icon with the neighbouring ordinary symbols. A phoenix block demonstrates the GigaSymbol format. A complete three-by-three Scatter introduces a different state by changing into a wheel; if that wheel awards Free Games, subsequent GigaSymbols use only the two larger sizes, three-by-three and four-by-four.
These are individual provider screenshots from the exact product, not a new firsthand play sequence. A visible stake or bonus win on one image is a historical example. It does not prove the configuration available in every casino.
For learning in demo mode, start by comparing the size of ordinary symbols and GigaSymbols. Then identify the full 3x3 Scatter condition. If a Wheel is awarded, observe whether it chooses credits or Free Games rather than assuming the Free Games option is guaranteed.
RTP, limits and player fit
Arcane Beauties is comparatively easy to understand once you learn its two special rules: GigaSymbol geometry and the full Scatter landing. It does not require the player to track several nested collection boards or a persistent multiplier meter.
The provider's 96.48% RTP and 600x maximum are bounded catalog specifications, not guarantees and not a reason to increase bets. A higher number of visually occupied positions is not evidence that the next spin has better chances of paying.
This game is suited to players who like clear symbolic changes and fantasy imagery, especially those who appreciate oversized symbols without needing a long rulebook. The trade-off is that the main wheel result is random, and a session may show the geometry without presenting a bonus entry.

04 / The SlotsCollector take
Verdict: size and placement do the interesting work
Arcane Beauties succeeds through one straightforward design choice: a normal six-reel field hosts symbols that can occupy large blocks, and an even more specific 3x3 Scatter can transform into a prize wheel. This gives the game's fantasy presentation genuine mechanical meaning.
The trade-off is a narrower feature set than a slot with several collection boards or persistent bonus meters. Much of the interest comes from symbol size and whether a Scatter fits completely within the reels. The wheel then selects credits or Free Games, so enjoying the oversized-symbol presentation does not depend on treating every wheel entry as a spin bonus.
