Aztec Fire at a glance
Aztec Fire begins on five reels with four rows and 20 paylines. Flaming Meteors carry Bonus values and lead into a collection round whose board can become twice as tall.

How Aztec Fire works
The original Meteor collection game
The original Meteor collection game
The original's documented appeal is that expansion. This guide does not assign it Aztec Fire 2's row-multiplier rules merely because the names and artwork are related. Each edition needs its own feature explanation.
Six Meteors and three resetting respins
Six Bonus Meteors activate Hold & Win. The trigger symbols remain as sticky values, and the round starts with three respins. Every new symbol resets the counter.
Only sticky Bonus symbols land during this feature. If no new symbol arrives to refresh the counter, the remaining attempts run down. The board's occupied spaces and respin count therefore measure different aspects of progress.
Unlocking four additional rows
Collecting the required numbers of Bonus symbols can unlock four more rows, extending the field from five-by-four to five-by-eight. The primary summary confirms the expansion without listing every threshold.
The partially expanded provider frame shows locked rows above the active collection. Those new spaces create further targets; opening them does not mean the feature has already achieved its full-screen reward.
Royal, other jackpots and free spins
Mini, Minor, Major and Grand can appear as fixed jackpot Bonus symbols. Royal has a separate condition: filling all 40 positions on the fully expanded board, for a stated 10,000x-bet award.
Free spins use high-value symbols and can award additional spins. The native introduction illustrates an eight-spin entry, while the retained overview does not establish the complete scatter and retrigger table for every version.
Reading the stake and the ending
A bonus can exhaust its respins before the enlarged board is full. That possibility is important when interpreting a screenshot with many filled positions: it represents a state, not a guaranteed path to Royal.
The jackpot currency ladder follows the pictured bet. The 10,000x Royal is a conditional award, not a documented overall cap; universal stake limits and the active RTP configuration are not supplied by the retained provider summary.

04 / The SlotsCollector take
Verdict
Aztec Fire gives Hold & Win a clear spatial objective: enlarge the board and then fill the extra space. The difference between unlocking rows and completing them is more useful than repeating the Royal headline.
It suits players who enjoy visible progression over a simple fixed-grid collection. The original's own reset rule and expansion system are enough to explain it without importing extra mechanics from its sequel.
