Inside the game
Four lightning meters handle progressive cash awards, while scatter coverage builds and finally releases the Free Spins multiplier.
A lightning symbol on reels one, two, four or five adds 0.5x to the progressive value above that reel.
Lightning can randomly trigger the wheel, which selects one of the available progressive prizes including the 5,000x central maximum.
A four-scatter base-game result adds 0.5x to the multiplier reserved for the eventual Free Spins round.
A scatter on every reel triggers the bonus. Before it starts, the scatters reveal +1 spin or +1x, and further bonus scatters can add turns.
Whether lightning charges a prize or triggers its wheel
Lightning on reels one, two, four and five increases the progressive prize attached to that reel by 0.5x.
Read the on-screen WIN banner separately from the five prize labels. Our second and third reviewed frames show $0.40 and $2.40 ordinary results while MINI remains $10; neither frame proves a lightning charge or Bonus Wheel award.
Free Spins require scatters across all five reels. Four visible scatters build the stored multiplier but do not start the bonus.

The current Pragmatic Play player card lists 96.52% RTP, Medium volatility, a 5×5 Ways layout, no Bonus Buy and a 5,000× published maximum. The $2 bet and dollar-valued prize labels in the three original captures belong to a virtual-credit demo and do not establish every operator's stake range or terms.
04 / The SlotsCollector take
Lightning on the four outside reels raises their progressive prizes and can randomly open a Bonus Wheel. Four scatters increase a stored Free Spins multiplier; scatters across all five reels start the feature with four turns.
Cash Surge asks players to keep three amounts separate: the value stored above a reel, an ordinary winning spin, and a Bonus Wheel award that releases one of the stored prizes. The provider places prize labels above all five reels, with the 5,000× published ceiling above reel three. Lightning on reels one, two, four or five adds 0.5× the total bet to the prize above its reel. A larger displayed prize value is progress, not a payout to the balance. Lightning can separately trigger the Bonus Wheel Money Award, which selects one of the progressive prizes. Until the wheel resolves and a result is credited, a bright prize label remains a potential amount rather than money won. The separate Free Spins route uses Scatters. Four in the base game raise a stored win multiplier by 0.5× from its 1× start; five Scatters across the reels trigger the feature. Before an initial four turns, the triggering Scatters can reveal +1 spin or +1× multiplier outcomes, and later bonus Scatters may add turns. These are provider-described rules, not events demonstrated by our short capture. Our first original 1600×900 frame shows a settled 5×5 Ways demo board at a $2 virtual bet, with MINOR $20, MEGA $400, ULTRA $10,000, MAJOR $100 and MINI $10 above the five reels. It also displays 1× and $100,000 credit, with no lightning, wheel, Scatter or credited prize. The $10,000 ULTRA label on a $2 stake is consistent with the published 5,000× ceiling; it does not prove that the top prize was paid. The second, visibly different base-game frame displays a $0.40 on-screen win and $99,994.40 credit, alongside a reel-four Wild and electric letter symbols. MINI remains $10. It contains no visible pink lightning charge, wheel or bonus counter. The third frame shows four highlighted blue J symbols, a stated $2.40 win on two ways and a separate $99,994.80 credit display. Its prize labels still include MINI $10 and its stored multiplier remains 1×. We do not infer a continuous accounting path from these independently captured stills; each is evidence of the screen it records. These two paid-looking ordinary results are useful precisely because the jackpot-style labels can otherwise dominate the interface. A line or ways result labelled $0.40 or $2.40 is not a MINI, MAJOR or ULTRA award. The frames do not show the Bonus Wheel, a charged meter, five Scatters or Free Spins. The current Pragmatic Play player card lists 96.52% RTP, Medium volatility, a 5×5 Ways layout, no Bonus Buy and a 5,000× maximum. An older review called the game High; this revision uses the current first-party category. RTP is a long-run theoretical setting and the maximum is a ceiling, neither a prediction for a short free session. Dollar amounts in the demo are virtual-credit labels, and an operator may offer different stakes or settings. A useful free-play trial begins by noting each outside-reel prize value and the 1× multiplier. Watch for actual lightning on reels one, two, four or five, then verify whether the corresponding top value changes by the stated 0.5×-bet increment. Keep ordinary ways wins in a separate column. Count a progressive prize only when the Bonus Wheel visibly selects it and the credit display reflects the result. Separately log four-Scatter multiplier increases and a five-Scatter bonus trigger; the two systems are easy to conflate if every electric animation is treated as a feature. The strength of Cash Surge is that its five labelled prizes make stored value easy to spot. The drawback is that the display can look dramatic during an ordinary small win, so the player has to follow the actual result banner and credit as well as the top meters. Players who enjoy tracking a persistent-looking prize display and a separate Scatter goal have a good reason to explore it. Players who prefer every special-looking symbol to resolve immediately may find the distinction between charge, ordinary win and prize release less direct.
