Hit the Gold! at a glance
Hit the Gold! uses five reels, three rows and 25 paylines. Golden Nugget Bonus symbols carry values, while Dynamite is the Mystery symbol that can reveal a jackpot.
Inside the game
How Hit the Gold! works
The original mining layout
The original mining layout
This original is separate from the four-row Hit More Gold edition. Its documented features should not be enlarged with a sequel's Boost behavior merely because both games use a Miner and Dog theme.
Six Nuggets open the respins
Six Golden Nugget Bonus symbols trigger Hold & Win. The round starts with three respins, the triggering symbols remain fixed and the other positions clear.
Every new symbol resets the respin counter and also locks in place. If no further symbol arrives, the remaining attempts run out. The board thus grows through sticky values without guaranteeing that every empty position will eventually fill.
Dynamite and the Grand condition
Mini, Minor and Major jackpot values can appear on Bonus symbols. Dynamite Mystery can also transform into one of those three jackpot tiers.
Filling all 15 positions can award Grand at 2,000x the wager. Individual Mystery reveals and the full-board Grand are separate events; the gallery's before-and-after Dynamite frames make that distinction visible.
Eight free spins and eight more
Three scatters award eight free spins. Another three scatters during the feature award eight additional spins, making the retrigger condition explicit.
Only high-paying symbols, Wilds, scatters and Bonus symbols appear in that mode. The reduced symbol set changes the reel experience, but does not guarantee a win on each free spin. Follow the counter through any added eight-spin awards.
Stake and payout boundaries
The source establishes the initial and retrigger awards, but not an unlimited number of retriggers or an optional purchase price. Those extra conditions should come from the current rules.
The jackpot ladder's currency values use the illustrated stake. The 2,000x Grand is a conditional full-board award, not a documented total cap, and the saved overview does not establish universal stake limits or the current RTP configuration.

Verdict
Hit the Gold! has a complete, concise feature structure: six Nuggets for respins, Dynamite for Mystery jackpots and three scatters for an eight-spin award or retrigger. Those exact conditions are more useful than a generic mining-theme description.
It is a good fit for players who want an understandable collection bonus alongside free spins. Keeping it distinct from Hit More Gold preserves the original's three-row layout and its own documented mechanics.
