Super 12 Stars puts a new held-Star collection game alongside older Star-family effects. The middle-reel Super 12 symbol starts three resetting respins; a Super 10 symbol can open a different Frenzy game with a red-and-green wheel.

Super 12 Stars at a glance
Super 12 Stars is a 2019 Red Rake Gaming video slot using five reels, three rows and 30 paylines. It draws on features from earlier Super Stars games but introduces Lucky Stars, a coin-like held-symbol minigame with a defined counter and two termination conditions.

How Super 12 Stars works
Why Super 12 deserves its own guide
Why Super 12 deserves its own guide
This edition should not be treated as a smaller version of Super 20 or Super 25 with every later mechanic included. The retained Super 12 descriptions establish Lucky Stars, Super 10 Frenzy, a Super 7 full-height Wild, Golden and Silver Scatter awards, a Wheel Bonus and Free Spins entry. They do not establish the later Crystallize or Super 25 Sticky Wins modes for this title.
The most important starting point is reading a special Star by its number and position. They have distinct roles rather than forming one continuously increasing bonus meter.
Lucky Stars: three held Stars and resetting respins
A Super 12 Stars symbol appearing on the middle reel activates Lucky Stars. The triggering symbol transforms into three Stars fixed in place, and the minigame begins with three respins.
Every additional eligible Star stays locked and resets the counter to three. This can prolong the game after the initial three attempts, but there is no guarantee that the feature will grow to completion.
Two endings are specifically documented: the respins are exhausted or every position on the reel board has been filled with Stars. That makes the screen's empty positions and the remaining counter equally important to understanding the result.
The source describes possible Minor, Major and Grand prizes in Lucky Stars. It does not supply a universally applicable cash amount for each one or a probability of completing the board. The retained filled-board Grand still is an example outcome, not a result obtained by this review in a new session.
A Star feature is not the same as a normal line win
The ordinary game uses 30 paylines. A matching combination must satisfy the game's line rules, while Lucky Stars follows its own held-position collection process. A large printed Star is not a Wild that automatically completes any possible line.
Once Lucky Stars begins, the player should follow newly held symbols rather than count standard line wins. A symbol that fills another position may extend the feature even if it does not instantly add the value the player hoped for.
This distinction also explains why a static screenshot can be misleading. The presence of three fixed Stars is the entry state, not proof that the entire feature has reached the Grand reward.
Super 10: a one-reel Mini-Slot
A Super 10 Star can start Frenzy. Its associated single-reel Mini-Slot may grant an immediate Free Spins result, apply a multiplier tied to the bet per line, or open a separate Frenzy Wheel event.
A Mini-Slot outcome should not be described as all three rewards being given together. The displayed single-reel result determines which outcome is selected under the game's rules.
It is also important to keep bet per line distinct from the total stake. Applying a line-denominated factor to the whole wager without an exact rule would distort the stated payout.
Super 12 uses this older Star-family mechanic as one of several possible events, not as the entrance to the newly introduced Lucky Stars collection board.
Red and Green: the correct Frenzy wheel colours
The preserved description of the Frenzy Wheel in Super 12 Stars names red and green as the player's colour choices. This is an important edition-specific detail: Super 20 and Super 25 describe blue and yellow choices, and those colours must not be swapped into this review.
The game asks the player to pick one of the two colours before the wheel turns. The saved text stops at that interaction; it does not fully describe the wheel's continuation/termination schedule or a documented x100 ending for this edition.
A responsible guide can explain the colour-choice interface without importing a stopping rule from another game in the series. The retained wheel image illustrates the red/green choice. It does not prove equal probabilities or a way to improve an outcome by timing the selection.
Super 7 Wild Respin: one reel stays still
A Super 7 Wild on the centre reel can expand to occupy that entire reel and remain fixed while the other reels respin.
This differs from Lucky Stars. In the Wild event, one whole column becomes a substituting reel; in Lucky Stars, many individual positions can fill with held Stars as the counter resets. Seeing something held on screen is not enough to conclude the events have the same three-respin limit.
A full Wild reel may contribute to paying combinations, but its appearance is not a guaranteed cash multiple by itself. The surrounding symbols still need to qualify.
Scatter prizes, separate Wheel Bonus and Free Spins
The source lists Golden Super 5 Stars as a distinct Scatter-style payout. Three, four or five qualifying golden symbols can award up to x200 the bet, which is a maximum, not a guarantee that every three-symbol appearance pays the ceiling.
The provider also describes Silver Scatter Multiplier events, but the packet does not bind an equivalent complete number table. Avoid treating Gold and Silver as one interchangeable payout rule.
Three Wheel symbols anywhere can enter the separate Wheel Bonus. It is not automatically the same event as the Super 10 red/green Frenzy Wheel, even though both use rotating-wheel imagery.
Finally, three Bonus symbols simultaneously on reels 2, 3 and 4 open a separate Free Spins Bonus and award the usual Scatter result. The starting Free Spins allocation for this mode is not stated in the frozen source. The Match3 feature elsewhere in the product can award up to 25 Free Spins, but that ceiling does not prove the number awarded by every three-Bonus trigger.
Recognising Lucky Stars, Frenzy and the Wild reel
Start with the ordinary five-by-three game image and locate the central Super 10 or Super 12 symbol. If Lucky Stars occurs, note that three positions are held before the first respin and that a new Star restores the counter.
If Frenzy Wheel appears, recognise the red/green choice but do not assume a specific continuation count. When the Super 7 Wild fills the middle reel, examine which other reels spin again. Keep the separate Wheel Bonus and Free Spins triggers distinct.
The selected source stills include a held-Star grid, a full-board Grand example, the red/green wheel and a central Wild. These are genuine provider examples, not continuous footage of a session run for this review. They support visual understanding without establishing feature frequencies.
Player fit and settings
Super 12 Stars is likely to suit players who appreciate classic payline reels with several small bonus events. Lucky Stars offers visible board progress and a countdown that is easy to follow. The various separate triggers add variety without relying on later editions' more complicated Crystal systems.
The downside is potential confusion between similarly numbered symbols. This first-party packet does not bind exact RTP, current casino stakes, any feature-buy price or a full Wheel stopping formula. Those are reasons to keep the explanation precise, not to invent attractive values.

04 / The SlotsCollector take
Verdict: a held-Star bonus with its own vintage rules
Super 12 Stars is most distinctive as the edition that builds Lucky Stars around the middle-reel Super 12 symbol and three resetting respins. The collector-style lifecycle is clearly documented, and the full-board condition gives it a comprehensible alternative to simply running out of spins.
The important caution is edition accuracy. Red/green is the Frenzy wheel's colour pair here; the later blue/yellow rule and related termination should not be imported. This game is worth exploring for its small, distinct Star-family features, not for a promise that every symbol-count award will reach the advertised maximum.
