Big Bad Wolf Megaways gives a continuing tumble chain visible milestones. The pigs change into Wilds as the chain grows, while the Moon Scatter bonus adds a second, longer-running form of progression.

Know this game
Reel height changes the number of ways, Piggy milestones change the available Wilds, and Free Spins retain their multiplier. These are separate parts of the same round.
Inside the game
Start with variable ways, then distinguish the tumble counter from the multiplier carried through the bonus.
The inspected rules describe:
Wins pay left to right on consecutive reels.
Winning symbols are removed.
New symbols refill the play area:
If a new win forms, another tumble begins.
All tumble wins are added to the total spin win.
The sequence ends when a refill produces no new win.

The game tracks tumble count.
After:
Piggy/Piggy Wild positions are on reels 2–5.
This creates progression inside one paid spin. A long tumble chain does not merely pay repeatedly; it also changes future symbol behaviour.

Regular Wilds appear on reels 2–5 and substitute for other symbols except Piggy Wild and Moon Bonus Scatter. Piggy Wilds also operate on reels 2–5, with the reciprocal exceptions of regular Wild and Moon Bonus Scatter.
The distinction keeps a substitution symbol separate from the bonus trigger. Turning a Piggy into a Wild helps ordinary winning combinations; it does not make that symbol a Moon Scatter.
Three Moon Bonus Scatters in the base game trigger 11 Free Spins.
The feature adds a persistent win multiplier.
The multiplier begins at 1×. Every Free Spins win increases it by 1. It does not reset between Free Spins. That makes long tumble/win sequences valuable in two ways:
Moon Bonus Scatters collected during Free Spins advance the feature. The inspected rules state: This is a cumulative progression system, not a normal one-time retrigger.
Quickspin’s first-party material lists:
The provider also says Buy Feature may be unavailable in some markets.
The saved game rules state 96.05% RTP for normal play and 96.44% for the 90× Buy Feature. These percentages belong to different entry modes.
Quickspin’s product sheet gives exact normal-play totals of 96.05%, 94.11% and 90.19% for three builds. The product page abbreviates these as the 96%, 94% and 90% models.
Check the actual game rules to identify the casino’s build. A Buy Feature return does not replace the base-game RTP, and a rounded product-family label is not a fourth exact setting.
| Configuration | RTP |
|---|---|
| Normal play · main product sheet build | 96.05% |
| Normal play · 94 build | 94.11% |
| Normal play · 90 build | 90.19% |
| Buy Feature · saved game rules | 96.44% |
Multiply the number of positions on all six reels to obtain the available ways for that layout. With seven symbols on every reel, 7 × 7 × 7 × 7 × 7 × 7 produces the 117,649 maximum.
The ways figure is not a prize and does not mean every combination pays. Matching symbols still have to occupy consecutive reels from the leftmost reel, with the required count determined by the paytable.

The three Piggy upgrades occur at fixed tumble milestones within the current sequence. The next threshold tells you which Piggy can become Wild; it does not promise that the chain will continue.

| Tumbles reached | Upgrade |
|---|---|
| 2 | First Piggy becomes Piggy Wild |
| 4 | Second Piggy becomes Piggy Wild |
| 6 | Third Piggy becomes Piggy Wild |
The bonus multiplier has two growth sources:
That means a long winning tumble sequence can raise the multiplier incrementally while Scatter progression can jump it forward more sharply.

Reel heights change.
It is not persistent across separate base-game spins.
That state carries from one bonus spin to the next.
It is not the same as the provider’s 96% base math model.
94% and 90% versions are part of the product family.
Good fit:
Less suitable:
The tumble count is local to the active chain: it tracks the second, fourth and sixth tumbles that activate Piggy upgrades. A new paid spin does not inherit a completed Piggy counter from the previous one.
The Free Spins multiplier has a different lifetime. It starts at 1×, rises after wins and survives into later Free Spins until the bonus ends. Moon Scatter collections can add further increases.
Quickspin’s product sheet rates volatility at 5 out of 5 and lists a €0.20–€100 stake range with €1 as the default bet for its documented builds. A casino can impose its own limits.
The same sheet reports a highest simulated payout of 30,540.35× over 100 billion spins for the 96.05% build. That is an observed result from the simulation, not a proven theoretical cap or a promise that another run will produce the same maximum.
The multiplier grows by one after every win, including wins within a continuing tumble chain. It therefore develops through paying events, rather than rising simply because another Free Spin was consumed.
Collected Moon Scatters add discrete jumps: the third collected Moon adds three spins and five multiplier, the sixth adds three spins and ten multiplier, and each further Moon adds one spin.
Those extra spins are opportunities to use the accumulated multiplier. Neither reaching a stage nor retaining a high multiplier ensures that the remaining spins form paying combinations.

At the saved €1 total bet, the paytable shows €50 for a six-symbol high-win combination. It also states that displayed awards reflect the current bet configuration.
Changing the total bet changes the displayed cash prizes. Read the paytable together with the total-bet field, then distinguish an individual combination from the sum of all ways and tumbles in the round.
Choose the total bet before spinning; the saved controls open the paytable through the Info button and the fuller rules through the help controls. Those panels explain the Piggy thresholds and Moon collection stages.
The 90× purchase enters Blowing Down the House directly. Availability depends on the market, and the purchase cost is charged for entry rather than returned as a guaranteed feature award.

04 / The SlotsCollector take
Piggy Wilds arrive at the second, fourth and sixth tumbles; Free Spins build a multiplier that survives between spins.
Big Bad Wolf Megaways combines two progression systems that operate on different timescales.
The first happens inside one paid spin. Every tumble can move the game toward the 2/4/6 thresholds that convert Piggy symbols into Piggy Wilds.
The second happens across the Free Spins feature. Every win increases a multiplier that persists into later spins.
The Megaways engine itself is familiar: reel height changes, so the number of ways changes from spin to spin. The maximum 117,649 figure is a ceiling, not a constant number of ways.
Piggy progression gives long tumble sequences extra identity. A spin that survives long enough to reach four or six tumbles changes the board rules, not just the cumulative payout.
Free Spins then replace that short-term milestone system with a persistent multiplier. Every win can improve the value of future wins. Moon Scatters accelerate the feature by adding both spins and multiplier value.
The 90× purchase is straightforward, but its 96.44% RTP belongs to that entry mode. The saved base game is 96.05%; the lower product-sheet builds are 94.11% and 90.19%. Checking that distinction is more useful than relying on the rounded 96%, 94% and 90% family labels.
This is a strong fit for players who enjoy Megaways but prefer mechanics that are visible and countable. You can see the tumble milestones and understand exactly what the next threshold changes.
