Chaos Crew 2 changes the way a win is built when the bonus starts. Ordinary line symbols give way to reel multipliers, and the useful question becomes which symbol adds, multiplies or keeps acting on later spins.

Know this game
Read each bonus symbol along three dimensions: addition or multiplication, one reel or every reel, and one action or repeated actions. Best of Bonus adds a separate rule: only the best of three completed rounds pays.
Inside the game
The base reels, multiplier bonus and paid entry menu use different rules, so follow them separately.
Unlike many recent Hacksaw titles, Chaos Crew 2 uses predefined paylines rather than Cluster Pays. Wins are formed by matching symbols on adjacent reels from left to right, starting on the leftmost reel. The inspected rules specify 19 paylines.
Cranky Cat acts as a Wild in the base game and can also carry a multiplier. When more than one Cranky Cat is part of the same winning combination, their multiplier values multiply one another before being applied to the line win. That is an important arithmetic distinction: The inspected rules also state that at most one Cranky Cat can land per reel in the base game.
Epic Drop can activate randomly at the start of a base-game spin. When it triggers, the game temporarily transforms into the bonus-style grid and drops at least five multiplier symbols. Their values are awarded through the bonus multiplier system before play returns to the base game. This gives the base game access to a short version of the main bonus logic without requiring a full Scatter trigger.
Three BONUS! Scatter symbols trigger the regular Bonus.
The normal paying symbols disappear. Above each reel sits a reel multiplier starting at 1×.
The bonus uses three refilling lives. Each life represents a spin. Landing a qualifying multiplier symbol resets the lives back to three. The feature ends after three consecutive spins without a new multiplier symbol.
The final award is determined by adding the reel multipliers together and applying the result to the bet.
Sketchy Skull values add to reel multipliers. Variants: The inspected rules list possible Skull values: 1×, 2×, 3×, 4×, 5×, 10×, 15×, 20×, 25×, 50× and 100×.
Cranky Cat values multiply reel multipliers rather than adding to them. Variants follow the same normal / Sticky / Epic / Epic Sticky structure: The inspected rules list Cat values of 2×, 3×, 4×, 5×, 10× and 20×. This add-versus-multiply distinction is the main concept the player needs to understand.

Four BONUS! Scatters trigger the Super Bonus.
It follows the same multiplier-building rules as the regular Bonus, except the first spin guarantees at least seven multiplier symbols.
The stronger starting symbol drop is the main advantage of this entry state; the distinction goes beyond the number of spins.
Three BONUS! Scatters together with a BEST OF BONUS Scatter trigger Best of Bonus.
The game plays three complete Bonus features in succession, stores all three results, and awards the highest one.
Best of Super Bonus works the same way with three Super Bonus features.
This mechanic is unusual enough to deserve its own section. The player is not combining the three results — only the best result is finally awarded.
Best of Super Bonus is triggered by four BONUS! Scatters together with a BEST OF BONUS Scatter. The higher Scatter count selects the Super version, while the Best Of symbol supplies the three-round comparison.

The saved €2 menu prices correspond to 5× for BonusHunt FeatureSpins, 200× for Epic Drop FeatureSpins, 100× for Bonus, 250× for Super Bonus, 200× for Best of Bonus and 500× for Best of Super Bonus.
FeatureSpins remain active until disabled. BonusHunt raises the stated bonus-trigger chance tenfold; the paid Epic Drop option guarantees at least 15 multiplier symbols. The naturally occurring base-game Epic Drop guarantees at least five, so the two versions must not be confused.
A purchased Bonus is one entry. Best of Bonus instead plays three corresponding features and pays only their highest result; it does not add the three awards together. Availability depends on the casino and market.
| Option | Cost in base bets | Displayed price |
|---|---|---|
| BonusHunt FeatureSpins | 5× | €10 |
| Epic Drop FeatureSpins | 200× | €400 |
| Bonus | 100× | €200 |
| Super Bonus | 250× | €500 |
| Best of Bonus | 200× | €400 |
| Best of Super Bonus | 500× | €1,000 |
The inspected rules list a regular bet range of €0.10–€50.00. Feature buys can exceed the normal bet limit.
Maximum win is 20,000× bet, and the rules state that it can be reached in all game modes.
The Skull and Cat families use the same reach and persistence variants, but different arithmetic. A Skull adds its number; a Cat multiplies the existing reel value.
Sticky symbols remain and act on subsequent spins. Epic symbols affect every reel multiplier. An Epic Sticky symbol combines that wider reach with repetition.
| Family | Normal | Sticky | Epic | Epic Sticky |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sketchy Skull | Adds to landing reel once | Adds to landing reel on future spins | Adds to every reel once | Adds to every reel on future spins |
| Cranky Cat | Multiplies landing reel once | Multiplies landing reel on future spins | Multiplies every reel once | Multiplies every reel on future spins |
Keep the reel multipliers above the board separate from the values printed on incoming symbols. The incoming symbol changes a reel’s running value; the final award uses the sum of all reel multipliers when the feature ends.
Three refilling lives are reset by a newly landed multiplier symbol. A previously retained Sticky symbol’s repeated action is different from a new symbol landing, so do not treat every repeated effect as a fresh reset.
In Best of Bonus, the scoreboard stores the three completed results. The largest stored result is awarded, making the comparison between rounds more important than their combined total.
The paying symbol set changes and the feature is built around multiplier symbols and a three-life reset system.
One adds; one multiplies. This difference can become enormous after reel multipliers have already grown.
It changes the scope from one reel to all reels.
It keeps affecting later spins rather than resolving once.
Only the highest recorded result is awarded.
The saved normal-play RTP is 96.27%. Each paid mode has its own figure, shown below for the retained rules.
Hacksaw also lists normal-game builds at 96.27%, 94.22%, 92.41% and 88.28%. Those are alternative provider configurations, separate from the entry-mode percentages in this table.
The 96.35% Epic Drop purchase figure is therefore not evidence that ordinary spins run at 96.35%. Use the rules for the selected casino build and mode.
| Entry mode | RTP |
|---|---|
| Normal play | 96.27% |
| BonusHunt FeatureSpins | 96.22% |
| Epic Drop FeatureSpins | 96.35% |
| Bonus buy | 96.34% |
| Super Bonus buy | 96.30% |
| Best of Bonus buy | 96.29% |
| Best of Super Bonus buy | 96.35% |
Good fit:
Less suitable:

The Epic Sketchy Skull adds its displayed value to all five reel multipliers once. Its reach changes the number of affected reels; its arithmetic is still addition.

The Epic Cranky Cat multiplies all five reel multipliers by its displayed value once. The Sticky version repeats on subsequent spins.

04 / The SlotsCollector take
A 19-line base game turns into a three-life bonus where Skulls add, Cats multiply and Sticky symbols repeat.
Chaos Crew 2 has a sharp change of pace: a familiar line-paying base game gives way to a bonus built entirely around the numbers above its reels.
The base game is conventional by Hacksaw standards: five reels, five rows, 19 left-to-right paylines. Cranky Cat Wilds add a multiplier twist, but you are still reading line wins.
The bonus throws that structure away. There, the important numbers sit above the reels. Sketchy Skull symbols add to those reel multipliers; Cranky Cat symbols multiply them. The same special symbol can also be Sticky, Epic, or both. That creates a very different decision-free progression system where the value of a new symbol depends on what the reel multipliers already look like.
Sticky versions add a time dimension. A normal symbol changes the board once; a Sticky symbol can keep changing it on later spins. Epic Sticky symbols combine both advantages, repeatedly touching every reel.
The three-life counter resets when a new multiplier symbol lands. That creates a clear ending condition, while retained Sticky symbols can continue changing the reel values during later spins.
The paid choices change how the feature is reached. BonusHunt increases the trigger chance, paid Epic Drop guarantees a larger symbol drop than the natural event, and Best of Bonus compares three completed rounds. Their prices and mode RTPs belong alongside those differences.
Chaos Crew 2 is a good fit for players who enjoy visibly escalating multiplier states but still want a familiar paylines base game. It is less suitable if you dislike bonuses with many symbol classes and mode choices.
