Fire in the Hole 3 is a six-reel Nolimit City slot built around a mine that expands as collapses clear the board. The inspected base configuration shows 96.05% RTP and a 70,000× maximum payout. xBomb®, xSplit®, xHole™ and ice-block features feed into a much denser Lucky Wagon bonus, where coins interact with enhancers such as Dynamite, multipliers and persistent dwarfs.

Know this game
The game has two very different layers: The mine / collapse layer — wins, Wild Mining and xBomb events remove symbols, expose ice and can open more rows. Lucky Wagon Spins — a coin-collection feature where top-row enhancers modify the coins that land below them. The easiest mistake is to read every published frequency as the same metric. The official data distinguishes: hit frequency: 22.18%; maximum-win probability: 1 in 14.3 million rounds; Free Spins frequency: 1 in 231.

The reel set can expand while the round develops.
The provider describes six reels that can open from a smaller active area to as many as six visible rows. Winning combinations and certain feature events remove symbols and allow replacements to fall into the cleared spaces.
xBomb is a Wild that can explode and remove adjacent symbols.
When it explodes: nearby non-Bonus symbols are cleared; the next collapse's win multiplier increases; the removal can expose feature symbols hidden in ice.
An xBomb can therefore do three jobs at once: substitute as a Wild, change the board and improve the multiplier state.
xSplit changes symbol size/value and can alter the number of available win combinations.
In the current rules, an xSplit symbol splits other symbols on its reel, doubling those symbols. Once the split activation resolves, the xSplit symbols themselves become regular symbols.
The important player-facing idea is that xSplit changes the physical/evaluation state of the reel rather than acting like a simple payout multiplier.
xHole removes regular paying symbols from the reels and throws them back onto random positions as split symbols.
Its activation also leaves an empty space that triggers another collapse. Multiple xHole symbols can increase the resulting symbol sizes further.
Wild Mining activates when three to six matching symbols align horizontally or vertically while there is no winning combination, active xHole or active xBomb Wild. It replaces central positions with Wilds, reveals buried features and starts another collapse.
Lucky Wagon Spins are the game's main collection feature.
The current rules describe different starting states: 3 Bonus symbols: 2 rows open; 4 Bonus symbols: 3 rows open; 5 Bonus symbols: 4 rows open; 6 Bonus symbols: 4 rows open plus a guaranteed Persistent Dwarf on the first spin.
The feature starts with 3 spins. Landing a new coin resets the counter to 3.
Coins sit below a row of enhancers. When a coin lands under an enhancer, that enhancer affects the coin or board state.
The feature can expose several enhancer types:
Coin values set or add value; Multipliers increase the relevant coin values; Dynamite can remove ice, double coins, activate chests or affect persistent feature symbols; Persistent Dynamite continues dropping dynamite on later spins; Persistent Dwarf repeatedly collects values at its position; Evil Dwarf triggers a Golden Spin that reactivates coins; xHole can trigger Frozen Wagon Spins.
When xHole activates in Lucky Wagon Spins, it can trigger 3 Frozen Wagon Spins.
During this sub-feature the enhancer row is restricted to coin values, and existing coins collect those enhancer values. After the three Frozen Wagon Spins, Lucky Wagon Spins resume and the main spin counter resets to 3.
The base game can offer a gamble after a win of at least 5× the base bet.
The gamble can exchange the current win for a chance to enter a higher Lucky Wagon Spins level. A player can collect rather than continue.

05 / The SlotsCollector take
Fire in the Hole 3 is a six-reel Nolimit City slot built around a mine that expands as collapses clear the board.
Fire in the Hole 3 combines an expanding mine, buried ice features and a separate Lucky Wagon collection round. To follow it, start with the active rows, then learn what removes symbols and reveals the ice, and finally move to the enhancer row in the bonus.
The base game is visually busy, but the logic becomes more manageable if you follow the board from outside in. First, look at how many rows are currently open. Then watch what gets removed in a collapse. Finally, pay attention to what was hiding inside the ice that has just been broken. That hidden feature can alter the next collapse more dramatically than the initial line win.
xBomb is the easiest mechanic to learn because its cause and effect are visible: explosion, cleared neighbours, increased multiplier, new collapse. xSplit and xHole are less intuitive because they change the structure of symbols on the reels. This is where the Info screens are far more useful than a generic gameplay screenshot. A player should be able to see the before/after idea without reading three paragraphs of edge cases.
Lucky Wagon Spins are almost a separate game. The three-spin reset counter is familiar from Hold & Win mechanics, but the enhancer row makes the feature much more dependent on where a coin lands. A coin under a weak enhancer and the same coin under a Persistent Dwarf or multiplier do not have the same future value. The player is therefore watching position and feature state, not simply filling empty cells.
The dwarf features are where the bonus becomes genuinely layered. Persistent Dwarf can keep collecting from its position, while Evil Dwarf can reactivate the board through a Golden Spin. xHole can branch the feature again into Frozen Wagon Spins. That nested design is why the page needs a hierarchy rather than a flat list of "special features."
The paid entry options create different starting conditions. Guaranteed Dwarf costs 4,000× bet, Evil Dwarf Forever 700× and Golden Nugget 7,000× in the checked rules. Their guarantees describe feature setup, not a profitable result; boosters and other buy options have separate conditions.
The math also needs unusually careful labels. Nolimit City's public page gives a hit frequency, a maximum-win probability and a Free Spins frequency. Those are three different questions. Treating "1 in 231" as the game's hit rate would completely misrepresent the slot.
This is a strong fit for players who enjoy dense systems and want to watch a board evolve through chained feature interactions. It is a poor fit for anyone who wants to understand the entire game after three spins. The free demo is particularly valuable here because learning the names of the xMechanics changes how readable the screen becomes.
The hierarchy makes the game easier to follow: mine first, xMechanics second, Lucky Wagon third, paid entry options last. Watch one layer at a time in free play rather than trying to learn every effect from a single spin.

Three or more Bonus symbols trigger the feature. More Bonus symbols open a stronger starting state; six also guarantee a Persistent Dwarf on the first spin.
xBomb acts as a Wild, clears adjacent eligible symbols and increases the multiplier for the next collapse.
xHole pulls regular symbols from the grid and redistributes them as split symbols, leaving an empty position that creates another collapse.
It is a three-spin sub-feature triggered through xHole during Lucky Wagon Spins. The enhancer row becomes coin-only, and existing coins collect those values before the main feature resumes.
