Tombstone RIP pairs an irregular 108-ways board with several distinct Wild systems. Hang ’Em High stores a growing feature multiplier; Boothill adds Cowboy-family conversions. The xRIP rule is essential: a generated payout below the base bet pays nothing.

Know this game
Read the splitting mechanics separately from the bonus multiplier. Reel Split affects one reel, xSplit crosses the board from reel five, and xNudge grows a Wild multiplier as it moves into view.
Inside the game
The named Wild effects change different parts of the result. Their diagrams and the bonus tables below keep those differences visible.
The base layout has five reels with 2–3–3–3–1 visible rows. The last-reel symbol counts double, giving 108 ways by default rather than the 54 suggested by counting its visible position once.
Reel five has no low symbols. The symbol set changes in Boothill, where only the five Cowboy types land on that reel.
Enhanced Bet raises the charge by 10%, to 1.1× base bet, and guarantees a Scatter on reel two.
This is a paid spin configuration, not a free improvement. The base bet remains important for payouts and for the xRIP threshold.

Regular Wilds appear on reels 2–5. xNudge appears on the middle three reels and moves a stacked Wild fully into view.
Each nudge adds one to its Wild multiplier. Multiple applicable Wild multipliers are added rather than multiplied together.

Reel Split Wild appears on the middle reels and splits itself and the other symbols on that reel into two.
This changes symbol density on one reel. It is different from the cross-board path created by xSplit on reel five.

xSplit on reel five counts as two symbols high and chooses one of four equally likely paths to the left: the top row, bottom row, or the middle of the three middle reels combined with the top or bottom of reel one.
An already Reel-Split position can become four symbol parts when crossed by xSplit. Crossing an xNudge doubles its multiplier. Reels where two Scatters have converted into Reel Split Wilds are excluded from further xSplit splitting.
Three Hang ’Em High Scatters on the middle reels trigger eight Free Spins. Split Scatters count once for entry, but each split triggering Scatter adds one starting spin.
Two Hang ’Em High Scatters convert into Reel Split Wilds instead of entering Free Spins.

A Boothill Scatter can land on reel five in the base game or Hang ’Em High. Without the full bonus trigger, it respins the last reel to a Cowboy and turns matching Cowboys on the other reels Wild.
That event also applies a random multiplier from the stated 5–999 range. It is a reel-five feature, not automatically a Boothill Free Spins entry.
During Hang ’Em High, Wilds build a multiplier that remains for the feature: regular Wild adds one, Reel Split and xSplit add two, and xNudge adds one to three depending on its state.
A Boothill Scatter upgrades the remaining bonus to Boothill and adds two spins.
Three Hang ’Em High Scatters plus a Boothill Scatter start ten Boothill Free Spins. Reel five lands only Cowboys, converting matching Cowboys elsewhere into Wilds.
Separately, a random Cowboy family receives a multiplier from the listed 5–999 values, which adds to the overall multiplier before payout. It need not be the family selected by reel five.
Regular Wild, Reel Split and xNudge contributions continue to build the persistent multiplier. xSplit is not part of the Boothill symbol set.

The saved normal configuration states 96.08% RTP. Evolution also lists a separate 94.08% build; that alternative does not identify the returns of the saved paid modes.
Enhanced Bet is 96.28%, Hang ’Em High buy 96.47%, and Boothill buy 97.03% in the saved rules. Feature purchases are 70× and 3,000× base bet, with a stated maximum purchase base bet of €50.
The maximum round payout is 300,000× base bet. Reaching the cap ends the round and its remaining feature activity.
The rules state a simulated maximum-payout probability of approximately one in 130 million rounds. That is not an ordinary hit rate or the frequency of Boothill.
Reel Split subdivides a middle reel; xSplit crosses positions from the fifth reel.
The 5–999 Cowboy multiplier contributes to a calculation. The separate round maximum is 300,000× base bet.
They become Reel Split Wilds, but do not start the eight-spin feature.
97.03% is the Boothill purchase return, not the normal-play RTP.
The paytable separates ordinary symbols, the five Cowboys, Wild types and the two kinds of Scatter. Their roles are not interchangeable.
Hang ’Em High Scatters create the initial bonus or a two-Scatter conversion. Boothill Scatter acts from the last reel and can create a Cowboy event even without the full Free Spins trigger.
Tombstone RIP suits players who want a dense set of interacting Wild mechanics and persistent bonus multipliers. Its irregular board and Cowboy conversions give it a distinct rhythm.
The xRIP rule and extreme provider-rated volatility are substantial parts of the choice. Players who prefer small wins to pay normally or a single simple bonus should understand those differences before choosing it.
xRIP activates whenever the total generated paytable payout is below the base bet. That result pays nothing.
It is not a guaranteed replacement win, insurance or an extra attempt. The important threshold is the base bet, even when an increased-cost mode is active.

A normal symbol can first be divided into two by Reel Split. If an eligible xSplit path later crosses that position, the two parts split again into four.
The exception matters: xSplit does not further split a reel whose two-Scatter conversion created Reel Split Wilds. Not every visibly split position is eligible for the same sequence.

Boothill has two separate selections. The last-reel Cowboy determines which matching symbols elsewhere become Wild. A random Cowboy family receives the added multiplier.
Those selections must not be collapsed into a claim that the converted Cowboy always receives the random value. The value contributes to the overall multiplier before the transformed result is paid.
The contribution table below distinguishes the two Free Spins modes. Their accumulated Wild multiplier persists through the feature.
Boothill retains regular Wild, Reel Split and xNudge contributions but has no xSplit; the Cowboy-family effect is its additional layer.
| Wild type | Hang ’Em High | Boothill |
|---|---|---|
| Regular Wild | +1 | +1 |
| Reel Split | +2 | +2 |
| xSplit | +2 | Not in this mode |
| xNudge | +1 to +3 | +1 to +3 |
The saved menu separates a recurring 1.1× Enhanced Bet from direct 70× and 3,000× feature entries. Costs and returns below describe that configuration.
A higher purchase RTP still accompanies a much larger single entry cost. The menu does not guarantee a return equal to that cost.
| Mode | Cost / base bet | RTP |
|---|---|---|
| Normal play | 1× per spin | 96.08% |
| Enhanced Bet | 1.1× per spin | 96.28% |
| Hang ’Em High buy | 70× per entry | 96.47% |
| Boothill buy | 3,000× per entry | 97.03% |
First identify whether a symbol effect changes one reel, a path or the Wild multiplier. Then follow the bonus meter rather than treating every “x” label as the same multiplier.
The most useful distinction in Boothill is between the Cowboy on reel five and the separately selected multiplier family. Both influence the result, but perform different jobs.
Its single visible symbol counts double; that explains the default 108 ways.
Its Scatter can cause a last-reel respin and matching-Cowboy conversion without starting ten Free Spins.
The cutoff is not a promise that all results up to an enhanced spin’s charge are refunded.

04 / The SlotsCollector take
Split reels and Cowboy conversions build the bonus—but xRIP removes results below the base bet.
Tombstone RIP has an unusual identity even before the bonus: the irregular grid, double-counted final reel and different split mechanisms make the reel result more involved than it first appears.
Boothill adds two separate Cowboy decisions to the persistent multiplier. Keeping the converted family separate from the randomly multiplied family is essential to understanding the feature.
The hardest tradeoff is xRIP. A below-base-bet result pays nothing, so this cannot be described as a rescue mechanism. Combined with extreme volatility and very expensive direct entries, it makes the game a specialized choice for players who want the mechanics and understand their cost.
